Dr Evonne Curran: UK based IPC Nurse Consultant and author of the Outbreak column in the Journal of Infection Prevention. Her recent publications focus on disinfectants and testing. Evcnne will be hosting an outbreak workshop along with a presentation on when you should recommend introducing disinfectants into healthcare settings.
Martin Kiernan: Martin Kiernan is an expert in the field of Infection Prevention and a well loved presenter in Australia. Currently a visiting Clinical Research Fellow at the University of West London and Clinical Director at GAMA Healthcare. Martin will be focusing on leadership in IPC.
Dr Mark Garvey: Mark is the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and Control at the University Hospitals Birmingham. He has recently published a paper showing a 55% reduction in MRSA when moving from a two-step process to a single disinfectant wipe.
Yvonne Carter: Head of Infection Prevention & Control at the Royal Free Hospital of London, Yvonne has worked in the field of Infection Prevention for over 25 years and presented internationally.
Professor Brett Mitchell: Brett Mitchell is one of Australia’s leading academics in Infection Prevention publishing Australian research of practical interventions and measuring the cost effectiveness of change. Brett will be discussing healthcare associated pneumonia.
